Overview
MyFitnessLab™ is a course management resource loaded with valuable teaching resources that make giving assignments and tracking student progress easy. Powered by CourseCompass™, the preloaded content in MyFitnessLab™ includes everything you need to enhance your traditional course or to create an effective hybrid or online course.
Students can access the preloaded MyFitnessLab™ resources in the Chapter Contents area. These unsurpassed resources are organized into six categories to guide students logically and efficiently through every chapter: HEAR IT,, READ IT, SEE IT, DO IT, REVIEW IT, and LIVE IT.

HEAR IT
Students can listen to audio/visual lectures presentations, ranging between one and two minutes each, on tough topics for every chapter. These PowerPoint® presentations provide a narrated tour by author Tanya Litrell with text and images. The audio/visual lectures are an ideal review tool for students after lectures or before quizzes and exams.

READ IT
Students can no longer say they forgot their text at home. Students can access the text through MyFitnessLab™ whenever and wherever they have access to the Internet. myeBook pages look exactly like the printed text, offering powerful new functionality for students and instructors. Users can create notes, highlight text in different colors, create bookmarks, zoom, click hyperlinked words and phrases to view definitions, and view in single-page or two-page view. myeBook also links students to associated media files, enabling them to view a video as they read the text. In addition, myeBook offers a full-text search and the ability to save and export notes.

Exercise Videos
Ensuring your students engage in life long behavior change has never been easier with the Exercise Videos on MyFitnessLab™. Our new collection of over 80 exercise videos demonstrates strength training and flexibility exercises with resistance bands, stability balls, and gym equipment. Your students can also download the Exercise Videos to use on their iPods, allowing them to utilize these videos while exercising at home or the gym.

Get your students to apply the fitness and wellness topics directly to their own health and lives with a rich resource of electronic labs, assessments, behavior change contracts and logs, and journaling tools.
Over 55 labs are available online to students, allowing them to assess their level of fitness/wellness, learn core skills, and develop behavior change plans to track their progress. MyFitnessLab™ also includes labs designed and adapted for students with varying levels of fitness, varying levels of access to equipment, and those with disabilities. Students can easily fill out the labs and email them to you directlyÑno paper involved. In addition to all of the labs, students have access to:
- The online versions of the Take Charge of Your Health! Worksheets help students apply what they have learned to assess and modify current personal health behaviors.
- The online version of the Behavior Change Log Book and Wellness Journal is a starting point for students to investigate their health and healthy behavior. Select Journal Topics are available as online forms that can be emailed to instructors.

With nearly 2,000 assessment questions, instructors can give their students the practice they need with assignable quiz and test questions written for the textbook, preloaded and ready to use in the Assessment/Test Manager, accessible from the Control Panel. Instructors can modify these questions and create their own questions.
